I liked this movie. It's not a keeper. Not the best horror movie, but enjoyable. Atleast someone tried to be original and not do another remake, or Saw movie. Some interesting shock scenes.

Lego -- I did read the book about a year ago. That's exactly why I didn't bother seeing the movie, the book was flat out bad. The best review I read of the book was a statement that said the book was only written to be parlayed into a screenplay...

Well, this movie freaked me out. What a scary motherfucker. If it don't scare you, you ain't got no imagination, jack. And I didn't even need to suspend my disbelief much. Made sense, though they could have elaborated on the mythological aspects of it a little more.
As for the "stealing someone else's shit" parable contributed by rokridge: sure, it's stealing. As implied by the term 'Piracy' (I can't understand how the Bay has not been closed yet, and the lawsuit is taking forever - what is their problem? I download movies just because it's just not worth the hassle to go out and get them on DVD. There are many movies that I think are worth watching only in the cinema, at least for the first time, and I do go out and see them there even though I can get them for free as a download.
The companies that are now fighting so fiercely to protect their "rights" and stop piracy are just plain stupid. They did the exact same thing with music years ago, until someone had the balls to embrace online music downloads and find a way to make the people happy, make the recording companies happy, reward the authors for they work and make some cash for himself in the process.
Someone eventually will grow some balls and create an online video streaming service where people can pay/view and watch good quality movies online. Ofc there will still be piracy, but there will be millions of people out there that right now are forced to use file sharing to get movies just because there's no alternative.

Well, this movie freaked me out. What a scary motherfucker. If it don't scare you, you ain't got no imagination, jack. And I didn't even need to suspend my disbelief much. Made sense, though they could have elaborated on the mythological aspects of it a little more.
As for the "stealing someone else's shit" parable contributed by rokridge: sure, it's stealing. As implied by the term 'Piracy' (I can't understand how the Bay has not been closed yet, and the lawsuit is taking forever - what is their problem? Too much freedom in Sweden.... wake up and smell the shit the rest of the world is covered in.....) but you are stealing from very rich people who actually CONTROL the entertainment industry and DON'T ALLOW original cinema to exist 'cause their rather make money selling you their bullshit. Or, in other words - the people you're stealing from are not exactly saints. And, BTW, I am absolutely positive each and every one of you people is living on land his (or somebody else's) ancestors stole from some other nation, and it was probably accompanied by bloodshed, and possibly even genocide (the Home of The Brave is one example). My point? There is no justice.... and the sharing community will be destroyed, eventually.
